Unburdened, Updates and Potential Release Date! + Other Announcements

Helloo! Helloo! It's been a while, welcome to my new blog post. Sorry for being M.I.A lately because I took a one-month break, but I’m actively catching up on posting reels and blog post updates! Here's what you need to know about my Genshin Impact fanfiction, "Unburdened", and what you need to know!

I Finished the Draft!

On May 1st, 2025, "Unburdened" reached its conclusion and became a NOVEL! I'm so thrilled to have completed a book again. Surprisingly, this fanfiction ended up finishing first than Suns and Kingdoms, which is book 1 of The Celestial Prophecy series. Kinda ironic and funny, but it was an adventure, in itself, and I love the character I'm writing!

Expectation Vs. Reality:

I fully expected this fanfiction to be 20k words and less, but low-and-behold…the finished draft ended up with 80k words instead! It's a long journey to get this far, yet disappointed by its length, I finally began to love and embrace the story "Unburdened" has become.

I’ll also be looking for ALPHA readers to read "Unburdened" soon! Alphas are basically those who read first or second drafts early on in the writing process before the intense editing begins!

Book Binding Plans!

I've seen several hundred authors worldwide bind their fanfictions into a book and keep them as a collection on their shelves. I think it's pretty cool to have memorabilia of your favorite fan story that you wrote, besides having an original story you made yourself. It's anyone's dream, after all, and seeing your hard work turn into something you can hold in your hands is what I'm looking forward to doing in "Unburdened".

Artist Plans:

I plan on showcasing 10 artists’ fanarts to be showcased in the physical and digital copy of "Unburdened". More details will be shared as soon as the situation arises. As of now, I'm already whippin’ something up, but I can't disclose anything yet, so stay tuned for the future!

Potential Release Date!

The fanfiction will be published on Archive of Our Own’s website and my author website on December 22, 2025, Gaming’s birthday! This is only a tentative date and could change during the course of the editing process, so stay tuned for its final release date soon! Blog posts will also be uploaded near the release date.

All in all, I’m very excited to share this fanfiction with you all. I put my hard work into creating this and doing research! Your support would mean a lot!
